Welcome
This website was created out of our desire to make the various regulations, legislation and codes of practice that relate to the practice of Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry more understandable to people who manage or provide product-based information on prescription only pharmaceutical medicines.
However as part of the terms and conditions of using this resource, you have agreed that we cannot be held legally responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
The complexity of understanding regulations, legislation and codes mean that you must always consider the business risk of misinterpretation of this legal framework and consider if you need further legal advice.
The authors are not legal experts: we do not have any legal professional qualifications. But we do have;
- Many years of experience of working in Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry
- Have listened to legal experts give their interpretation
- Have a deep knowledge and understanding of how Medical Information practitioners are interpreting these regulations and laws in many pharmaceutical companies.
- The value of this resource is that you do not have to spend hours trying to find the relevant sources, get them translated into English language or start to understand what they mean in practice.
We welcome your feedback on the resource – especially if you think there are errors or we have missed an important resource! We want to use this site as means of the Medical Information community sharing best practice and their ideas!
